looking at the house he's got in the background. He's dad should be giving him a better car. In context, he's not being spolied at all. No sarcasm here.

although Bimmer Power? seriously?

It's a 325, that's reasonable....congrats! Treat it like it were a M6.

Did the previous owner do those black kidney grills? That car may have been beat. I don't mean to scare you, but an owner that leaves mods on his cars when he gets rid of it, any mods, probably drove it rough.

He has it on his signature profile.

Even its not powerful as 335, but it's more reliability and reasonable as the first car for a collage guy (I just assume ). It just cost couple thousands more than honda civic same year but much more stuff, so why not! Enjoy the car, you will love it.

Agreed.

blacked out kidneys = owner drove it rough

?? Come on....

I have a very modified RSX that I'm selling AS-IS and I very rarely drove it hard.

You've come a long way to getting it? Can you please elaborate on this because I seriously doubt you have worked your ass off in order to get such a gift from daddy.

^^

OP, congrats. It's a fun car to own and plenty you can do with it to keep you busy.

No idea of your background/experience but I highly recommend getting into the DIY section and doing as much work yourself over taking it to a shop for routine maintenance. It was a huge improvement to be able to work on my e90 after moving up from my first car.

again?? lol so many of these threads...
anywho....

welcome!!!

makes me sick that people get a BMW for free without paying for at least 1/4th of it, or anything. i hope you appreciate it a lot . i busted my ass to afford my car at 16/17. (think 4 jobs at once, ~50 hrs a week in summers, lawn service/grocery store/etc). saved up over 15k over nearly 6 years (only had 1 or 2 jobs for most of the time during school) and my grandfather pitched in the rest (car was like 27k).

also, ill warn u not to talk about ur age if ur 16-19 and ur dad bought u the car. ur begging to be nagged on (ask me how i know lol ) but welcome! most people here are helpful and nice and would b glad to help you.

Thanks guys! The car was my dads lol. I got the black kidneys, black lines and grill stripes for Christmas. It'd always been my dads car But I just haven't gotten around to installing the tail lights and the grill stripes yet. But yeah I'm 16 and still in high school and my dad worked very hard for all the stuff we have and I'm very thankful for all of it . It drives great and I've got one of the hottest cars at school!

No it's not. Just because it's a bimmer and not a Mustang or Evo does not mean the driver never drove it hard. Its understood people that mod that cars tend to drive them "enthusiastically." Right?

And the OP said he did them so I feel he shouldn't worry them. Nice car bro, keep it clean and I recommend http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-47...ing-wheel.aspx

Better selection: http://www.bimmian.com/90/ROU/

They, along with the black kidney grill, really make bimmers stand out from the other ones infront of Starbucks

Thanks for that! I'm planning on getting a muffler delete and get the upgraded x6 shifter off of bimmian.
