People think I'm stupid when I say "did you hear that, did you hear that?"

When the turbo is spooling. Why is the "whoosh" so intoxicating, I don't get it?

I just installed the BMS DCI and all I want to do now is just step into it... Why is the turbo whine so damn interesting?

This is the first turbo vehicle I have owned, and I'm addicted to the sound of it.

Wait till you get DPs and exhaust, turbos will be so loud you can hear them over music.

take off your engine cowl if you really wanna hear turbo spool. (dry days only as they are used to redirect rain into the cars gutters)

This is my first turbo/FI vehicle as well. I'm addicted to the powerband. The sound of my AA exhaust on my M3 is more appealing (probably due to the fact I've had it forever).

They probably do think something is wrong with you. Not many people other that us actually like the sound. In fact I have a couple younger male employees that have 335's and they have heard my car as I drive in our parking structure with the turbo's hissing so loud it's almost frightening...and they don't like the sound.

I had a Forge BOV on my 2.0T 2008 Audi TT. I love cars, but even for me, the "phssssst" of air that came out each time the car shifted got old real quick! I like it when I was driving hard, but ordinary driving, it got annoying. Went back to the OEM valve within a few weeks. Now I'm in the NA world for a while again.....so I'll have to wait till next time around.

well, i got the AR dp's installed and now running stage 2 + cobb... the wastegate rattle is obscene. It didn't do it with stage 1 so i'm wondering what the deal is.

the car is stupid fast, but the rattle is annoying as hell. time to look into solving that problem, have no idea where to start
