Bmw e90 320d Turbo Pressure...

Hi I was wondering where can I find the boost pressure, I presume that I got something wrong along the way, I got the OBDII cable, and INPA up and running, when I connected to the engine INPA was saying that the boost pressure sometimes tops 2.5bar which sounds kind of impossible to me... on tick over inpa was showing 1 bar of boost... is this possible?

I am not sure what is the operating manifold pressure on diesel cars...

The JBD tune people are running on their N57's can show their boost pressure via the fuel gauge but I don't know about the N47. Hopefully some answers will come your way!
