EGR clean

Whats involved in an egr clean. Any DIY guides available and is it a quick job and any specialists things req?

not sure, but I would like to completely disable egr. On my Duramax, I can simple block all of it. It stores a code, but who cares, I don't want that crap recirculating through my engine

Yup It is pretty Easy to totally block the EGR on a Duramax, still trying to figure out the best way to do it on the 335d...

Think i've read that egr deletes are a no no on 335ds. Does anyone know how to do the clean and how to do it/ what to use??
