spacers with new rims

I put on some new rims and the front are pretty flush but the rear need a spacer to make them flush...my question is there any way to measure the size of spacer i need? maybe the measure of the gap to the wheel? Im not trying to buy 4 or 5 different size spacers if i dont have to lol thanks for the help

Beat me to it!

OP - If you have a thin, flat piece of cardboard or something rigid like that, it would make it pretty easy to measure.
