Looking for a shop in North Jersey to remove the dealer badge from the rear of my vehicle.

Is it a sticker type or raised plastic lettering? You can easily remove the sticker type with a small plastic spudger and a hair dryer. The raise plastic type you can use floss to cut it off and then use an APC to clean the adhesive followed by reapplying LSP to that area.

If its adhesive stick on, you can use either fish line or dental floss to remove. I've done this to remove door side moulding on my other car with no damages or scratches to car.

Hi,
If sticker type my detailer just applies small amount of Goop to sticker and it comes right off. He then cleans and polishes area where sticker was. He has done this for me several times with no damage to car paint at all. It takes him less than 5 minutes and no charge. Ed Ed |
