greasy dirt from door sills

What on earth does BMW use for door hinge grease that ends ups dripping along and out the bottom of our door sills? I really hate that I get 1-2 drip lines a couple days after washing each bimmer. It takes a bit of washing, but it does come clean fine.

its the cosmoline from inside the doors. get some tarminator or a body solvent/alcohol, and remove it. Its not hard
