Where is BMWNA when I need them...
I just got my car back after ANOTHER 3 weeks of being in the shop (2006 Z4 M Coupe). This is the THIRD trip and each time they had the car for 3 weeks. I am paying a high monthly payment for driving a 328xi Loaner.. Funnn!!!
Problem. Right headlight stopped auto leveling correctly and its all the way down i can not see in front of me. Right headlight after a about an hour or so of useage (Or any usage at all) will not re ignite. I have to flick the highbeams on and off in the OFF position like 20 times before the right headlight ignites. At this time i must hold the highbeams and switch to the on position for the light to stay lit. I had it at the dealer 3 times. They told me they reprogrammed the DME, changed a module. Ordered some other stupid parts, and still the same problem. I am sick and tired of leaving my car at the dealership and it not being fixed. This problem started at 15K miles and I am not at 35K miles and the problem is still not fixed. I just recently in the last year had 2 different e90's replaced both with major problems. I just ordered a 335i for my girl in exhange for the 328i that had been replaced by BMWNA.. I am seriously loosing my petience with these cars and most of all i am losing faith in the BMW brand...

Hate to hear about all those troubles, but... man, you need to face the facts. You were sold a LEMON. Throw it back at them. Hopefully they'll bump you up on the M3 list or something for your troubles.

yea i already have 2 e90's replaced. I dont think my stealership will do that again lol. I have 35K miles on my car tho now and bought it last august. I think over 30K its too late for lemon law. My friend works at the BMW near me and he said they had master techs on it all day.

They are probably in South America at this time
Seriously though - they did replace my "Roaster" after it had been in the shop 6 or more times in 5 months. I got a Coupe and my Coupe has been flawless. |

i had 11 visits for 3 minor issues! i dont even want to get into it about my bad stealership experience... but anyhow, bmw na isnt going to do sh!t. i have lost all faith in them... if you give them a call, all they will do is put in a bad complaint for the stelership (which essentially does nothing), and send out a "master tech".
my only advice to you... if anyone asks you to do a feedback survey, just decline. my local stealership told me they would no longer service my vehicle since they "couldnt fix my problem". apparently thier bonuses are dependent on these surveys, so giving tons of bad fedback just ended up getting my zzzz banned. according to bmw na theyre allowed to do whatever they want since they are a privately owned entity... good luck! |
