clear bra offered by BMW?
is this a reliable product or should i get one from somewhere else? and is the dealership a bad place to get this installed? ive had almost nothing but bad experiences so far...the last good experience i had at the dealership was when i left with my car for the first time when i bought it ....
thanks in advance. |

they are going to sub out the work anyways. call around and find a reputable Venture Shield installer in your area. some of them are mobile.
The full clear bra was the first thing i did to my 328, it was almost a grand professionally installed, but id do it again in a heart beat. in 15,000 miles of highway driving the entire front end looks like new. More than i can say for my last 2 brand new cars that did not have clear bra...

when you said full bra, how much of the car do you mean? and 1 grand is waay too much for me, thats like most of my mod budget, would it be that much if i just wanted bumper and hood? also is there a clear bra for the window trim because mine has gotten scratch up from driving...although the first few came from one of the first times i took my car to get serviced..i was so pissed off. im actually going to try and make them replace it, along with my front bumper this weekend.. hoping it goes well

clear bra
I had 3m clear bra put on the font and rear bumper of my Z4, and they did a good job of protection. Rear really helped as my car lived on the streets of San Francisco where bumper love is a reality of life. The only downside is that after about 5 years it started to look like I had an old plasitc sheet on my car. I spent about a grand to have the front, rear bumpers, the third front of the hood, mirrors, and door seams done at BMW San Francisco in 2006.
It would seem to me that if you just wanted the front bumper you could find someone who could do it for 400-500 but I could be wrong. |
