Rubbing with new tires. Easy fix?
Just went from 235 Hankooks to 245 Eagle F1's on 19x9.5 +33. Car never rubbed with the Hankooks but now rubs over small bumps and dips.
It seems to rub the wheel well liner at the junction between the bumper and the fender. Is this something that can be fixed by some simply fender rolling or am I focked? I understand the bumper can't be molded which is why I ask the question. Thanks! |

I have used 245 in the front before with 33 offset but with 8" rim , stock camber and do not rub. So, your rub should be very minor, get a alignment for a little more neg camber should fix it.

Camber on front is not adjustable. What tires are you running? Maybe my sidewall isn't rounded enough. Is your car lowered?

At one time I even installed a 5 mm spacer in front with 245 that bring that total offset to 30mm and did not rub. My car is not lower, so your rub should be very minor.

This setup totally won't work unless I do something about that bolt that attaches the rear upper portion of the front bumper or raise the car with coilovers.
The tires have already burned holes in that section in <20 miles of driving. I am worried that bolt will pretty much shred the tire over time. |
