They probably did European Delivery.

There's no way to tell for sure because they're all made in Europe and shipped over here some time or another anyway.

I don´t understand.

Someone puts a fake European style license plate on a car and all sorts of presumptions are made?

Anyone can buy these for, I don´t know, I would never buy a fake European license plate

not sure what this sentence means

All BMWs (except for the X5 and Z4) are made in Europe and delivered to the U.S.

they're asking 33 grand for a 325 with ghetto mods

I have never seen the e90 badge on the rear, all the fake carbon fiber is horrible, the exhaust looks cheap.

you could get a new one for almost the same money, or you could have a car that some kid bought, threw a bunch of crummy mods on and had to sell because they couldn't afford it

mods reduce the value of a car, that thing is worth 26K at most and even then I wouldn't trust that the person who did the work didn't rip half the car apart and then put it back together in a shoddy manner.

that car is GHETTO!

Not an ED plate. Previous owner a poseur. Pathetic.

FWIW, to repeat what has been said above, there is no difference, nada, zilcho, between a euro delivery car and one off a US dealer lot. Exact same car, just driven a bit in Euro by owner before it was delivered to dealer in US.

The price is nuts. You can get a brand new 328 on ED for under 30k if you keep the options to a minimum.

Aren't all of those marked in red standard? Aren't the green ones in the Premium Package? Not really very many "options" afterall. So, the listing should be:
Alarm, Heated Seats, Comfort Access (aka keyless entry), Premium Package, Sport Package, Spoiler, CF Upgrades
Not as impressive now.

Options? What are you talking about. Half of the list you present is standard equipment.

Since when have you seen Euro plate fonts like that in Europe?

None of the BMW E90s come with an E90 logo on the trunk lid.

The Roundels, CF kidney grilles and side pillars are NOT OEM. The headlights are US spec. They also happen to be halogens, not xenons (i.e., no angel eyes).

The headlight switch in the car interior is not Euro, because there is no Euro rear foglight switch there.

noktekniq, we are mostly just trying to help you out. It's great that you are considering buying a BMW E90 -- they are fantastic cars. We are just bitching at a used car dealer that has the balls to try and rip folks off. What you need to do is take your time and carefully research before you buy. First go find the best loan if you need one. Don't get sucked into some finance rip-off at a dealer. Second, look online in the used BMW ads -- you can start here, but there are lots of other places to look. Think long and hard about what options you really want, because you are paying cold hard cash for them. In general you will do much better buying from the original owner than from some used car joint that deals with auctions and marks cars up 5 - 10 thousand. BMW dealers have some nice used cars, but again you will really pay for it. If you have 30k to spend, no doubt in my mind the best thing to do is get a new one. Interest rate much lower, resale much higher. Invoice on a 328 via ED with delivery is about 28.5k. Add steptronic (if that is what you want), a little dealer profit and you are still under 31k. Get a cheap ticket to Munich, drive it around for a weekend, and you are still under 32k. The hard part is waiting for it to get built, and then to get back here.

haha.. the dude slapped on some vinyl cf stickers to his door. that must have shed at least 15kg. plus snazzy workmanship on that rebadge. i'm sure it says E90 but it could say 290 I guess he was being honest with his mods.. it dumbed the engine down a few cc's
