2009 E90 LCI (Wheel fitiment)
19x9+20 Front
19x10 +20 rear Posting for a friend that doesn't get on forums, but he has a 2009 LCI and was wondering what needs to be done w/ the wheels to fit. The car has sports suspension w/ the possibility of going to coils (and possibly M3 suspension goodies) |

There's a similar thread here.
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=568883 With fitment like that I don't think its ever going to be totally rub-free. I'd say its pointless as far as driving the car is concerned. M3 front arms will widen the track and add a tiny amount of front camber at the same time. It won't add any fender clearance. |

Got another one... (This is mainly for an M based vehicle) already got that out but to get them to fit a non-M what would be needed? Spacers and Size?/tires (slight stretch? )

Adding spacers will actually lower the offset, pushing them out further. Adding a spacer would not be a good idea for those wheels on a non-M in general, more so with an LCI model.
Compared to what we normally recommend (19x8.5 ET35/19x9.5 ET33 or ET45) that's extremely aggressive.

Those are very aggressive offsets. Adding spacers will make the offset lower and thus more aggressive. I would recommend stretching the tires and modifying the fenders to help clear this fitment.

Doooeeeet!! its going to look SICK!! yes you will definately need to stretch the tires and reasearch the right sizes, 225 front and 255 rear. I know +25 on all 4 fits on LCI 4dr for sure.

Well I am trying to think outside the box, not a fan of every wheel that everyone runs on here, I have been in contact w/ this company and this is an M fit wheel (I have not seen a regular E90 with them)
What tire runs skinny? Suggestion? It's been awhile since I have had multiple sets of tires I guess. |

In general I do not recommend shaving down the back pad of a wheel. You're shaving metal off of it, essentially weakening it slightly and raising the offset. While this may help getting certain wheels to fit, they are designed specifically to distribute load over various portions of the wheel. So when you alter this you compromise the strength a bit.
