335d Guys - What do you want?
Hey Guys,
I've noticed a lack of options for you guys in terms of exhaust, DP's, Intakes, just mods in general. So Im basically just wondering what you would like to see come out in the near future? |

C. All of the above! Add meth kit to the list. This not only has shown to yeild big HP numbers in diesels it also reduces EGT's, very important for diesels.
Problem with a lot of exhaust related options (dp's mid pipe etc) is that we need a tune to give us the option to delete the DPF and urea injection system. The entire system is tied together and linked to the ECU. Otherwise, DP's and anything that would require removing the mid cat are out. I should have a working cat back exhaust option which will be available to the diesel community by next week. Super Sprint already makes a muffler for the d, but it is VERY expensive. |

I would like to see a reflash for US cars along with a turboback exhaust and possibly an upgraded IC in staged packages. You are pretty much going to have to package a reflash with the exhaust since as cssnms said it's all tied together. I don't want anything that sounds like a big rig or belches black smoke out of the pipe either though.

You guys have a JBD for your tune option which is a solid mod!
I am curious if meth would work with a JBD or if it would benefit a diesel car at all?

I went downpipes, sport muffler, and midpipes. I have an open air intake (no heatshield), so just want something more aggressive coming out the back end now.
A FMIC wouldn't hurt, either.

Sport muffler for the back end please. These cars really need to be heard.

The only thing I liked about the 335i vs the 335d was the exhaust note. I know the DPF system poses problems, but some exhaust noise would really make the car better.

The trick is making it louder without making it sound like a Cummins.
I kind of like the sleeper aspect of a very quiet exhaust, but more intake+turbo noise would be nice.

Exhaust for sure, some sort of an intake, and an actual ecu flash. pretty much the basics.
I'd also like to see how an aftermarket FMIC would benefit these cars.

It's looking to me like a nice Axle Back Setup will do well for you guys, and not gouge you on the pricing.
Anyone in SoCal able to do a test fit? |

That tune's been out for like 2 weeks lol, so I doubt anyone has even had an option to test it out yet.

From what I see, we can do a "catback" and remove the secondary cat in the midpipe, then run a twin muffler setup out back, So long as we dont touch the downpipes there wont be any errors and it should free up some ponies for you guys too

The only way I see to do it is to cut the pipe after the cat and the sensor and before the Y pipe, replace the Y pipe, exhaust pipes with a mandrel bent slightly larger diameter pipe and attach it to a freer flowing resonator. |
