Wheels help

Hey guys, I decided to finally get a set of wheels...hopefully lol....

I've been looking at 18s or 19s, but not sure what, I figured if I get 19s, less noticiable if i dont drop the car lol, but if i do end up going with 18s or 19s for that matter, what is the widest tire that I would be able to get without it interfering with the car, no rubbing and such.

I have a 2011 E92 335i xDrive LCI

I was thinking of maybe getting staggared, but not sure if it will fit on an xDrive or not. so help with this as well please

Never understand people who say "search" when people are asking for advice.

We are a community of auto enthusiasts, lets help each other out, not throw them to the wolves when they as a question.

There are many on here running 18's and I am sure they will chime in.

For me, I can help if you decide to go with 19's.
If you decide to go 19's and are going to run a typical offset (35 fr / 33rr or close to this) you can run 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear and and wont have any issues with rubbing at all, dropped or stock suspension.

I am running a staggered setup on XI and have zero issues.

Staggered wheels will work with an Xi no problem. Obviously 18"s and 19"s come down to personal preference to be honest, and most guys on this forum will say that lowering your car with your wheels should be done as well, especially with an Xi

Yea i know that lol but lowering costs a pretty penny, but i havent really looked into it yet, but coilovers are out of my budget lol, maybe just springs if anything but idk how much those cost.

good news on the staggered part, will look into it, but what do you recommend for tires tho and what is the offset and bolt pattern for my vehicle lol

Springs are a decent compromise if you want to save a bit more on cash, so that's obviously a viable option, and one that I've explored in the past as well. As for getting tires, they obviously depend on budget, and what you want to get out of a tire. Hankook Ventus V12 evos right now are one of the hottest sellers we have, and at the other end of the line Yokohama Advan AD08 Tires are a great high end tire, so it depends on what you want out of the tire. Send me a PM if you want to get more details on what set up you need and I'll be happy to help out.

Run flats are terrible, I wouldn't suggest them at all because the sidewall is too hard, the comfort level is compromised because of that. They're louder, and they're way more expensive for a tire that doesn't necessarily grip that well either. All the performance categories as well as comfort categories drop dramatically if you go run-flat, and more importantly, so does your price too. Totally not worth it in my eyes.

19s will definitely will fill the wheel wells more effectively than an 18" wheel would. The choice between 18s or 19s though is subjective, as each has their strong point. You can also run staggered fitment on your car without an issue.

On stock suspension we recommend a 235 front tire and 265 rear tire with the respective profile sizes for our own wheels.

Same thing as VMR recommended... Sport suspension makes really no difference in terms of what you should go with on tire sizes... Xi's are typically really high off the ground anyway, so there's no need to worry.

Oh my bad.. I guess searching would be the illogical thing to do.
There are 5 years worth of photos and information on wheels. Search is there for a reason.

Thank you very much i actually overlooked your response, sorry for that. Once again, thanks for coming to my defense

As for Searching....I did search, and there is just too much information on the search, I don't see the point of stating "SEARCH" because everyone at one point had a question that I am asking, and one way or another they got help, and I do not think that people mind helping since this is a FORUM after all. If everything used the search rather then re-posting a question previously asked, the forum would be pretty dead in my opinion because if a year ago, someone posted something and got their answer, but 6 months later found something NEW to add to their original question that ended up making their experience even better with what they were asking, what are the chances of them coming back and searching through all the threads in search for that one from a year ago. They wouldn't! but by posting a similar question, will allow them to chime in and add their experience or recommendation.

Same thing I recommended earlier. A 235 front and 265 rear tire will work without an issue on your car on sport suspension, with our wheels at least.
