RSi Tuning F10 N55 Performance Downpipe

RSi Tuning makes 19WHP and 18WTQ overall peak – Gains of 24WHP & 36WTQ at 3500RPM!

ORDER NOW *Group buy pricing only applies to the first 25 units sold; after first 25, price may increase.

RSi Tuning Introduces the one and only 3.5” Catless downpipe for the F10 N55 platform - Made completely in the USA from 304SS. This direct bolt-on exhaust pipe eliminates the primary catalytic converter and relieves pressure behind the turbo. This decrease in pressure allows the turbo to spool more efficiently, causing an increase in performance and better fuel efficiency during economic driving. You can audibly hear the difference as the turbo spool becomes more present and turbo lag is practically obsolete.

Performance Gains
Right away you will notice improvements in throttle response. Turbo lag is minimalized and higher peak boost levels are achievable with tuning. Dynojet numbers from EAS show an increase of 19WHP and 18WTQ – a 6.5% increase over stock.

*NOTE* The F10 N55 ECU is extremely sensitive to changes; without tuning the computer is a huge limiting factor – much more so than any previous BMW ECU. With the downpipe installed on 78MAO’s car (un-tuned), the dyno numbers were erratic and inconsistent. This inconsistency shows that the ECU is constantly monitoring and making adjustments to ensure factory output – Removal of the factory catalytic converter dramatically changes the air fuel reading to the oxygen sensor and causes the computer to limit boost and pull timing since it is outside of the programmed limit. These problems are eliminated with Juice Box or your choice of performance tuning.

Exhaust Tone
Along with the audible sound of the turbo building boost, the exhaust gains a much more aggressive tone. Decibel ratings remain below 90db and slightly above stock with the OEM exhaust. Listen Here:

Quality
All materials are from US suppliers and the downpipe is completely assembled in the US. Made of 304SS and tig welded to perfection! No additional hardware is necessary – installs using factory hardware. DIY included upon purchase.

Ordering/Shipping Information
Group buy pricing will be honored for the first 25 sets. Options for ceramic coating are available as well as bundle saver pricing with JB Stage 1. Pipes will be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks as they are currently being manufactured. Standard sales tax applies to CA residence.
ORDER HERE *Group buy pricing only applies to the first 25 units sold; after first 25, price may increase.

Thanks Daniel for giving me the opportunity to try out your product. All I can say is that its amazing how the downpipe works so well with the JB stage 1.

Thank you for making yourself available for testing! I do believe that you currently have the fastest N55 F10 - any takers?

Great Product! definately great gains! have it on my car as well!
Definately alot of torque and hp gain after install! after seeing daniel installed it, it is a very straight forward product to install unlike the N54.

There are plenty of room to install on our car!!

Definately recommend it!

Oh man I need this too! I just purchased a Supersprint exhaust with X pipes so this would be perfect. I'm just wondering do I need to do the JB tune?

It is highly recommended, since it is priced well in comparison to other ECU management systems while providing proven results. The unit is easy to install/remove and is completely untracable once removed from the vehicle. If you are interested, please take advantage of our saver bundle pricing.

It is approximately 36whp (proven so far) - Here is Jaekeem's dyno with the listed mods above and a K&N drop-in which adds approximately 10whp:

The car currently has a prototype exhaust which is crush bent and very restrictive with diameter as small as 2" - also we have not tuned to the full potential. We kept the same settings for before and after dynos in order to show bolt-on gains only. With more aggressive tuning and a mandrell bent cat-back, the car should make 45-50whp from Downpipe, JB Stage 1, and Cat-back.

Will this fit the E70 X5, since the 5 and the X5 share the same OEM downpipe, it should fit right? Plan to offer a Hi-Flo catted variety?

On realoem.com it's the same part number:

F10 OEM Cat:

01 Rmfd catalyst 1 18307594923

E70 OEM Cat:

01 Rmfd catalyst 1 18307594923

I might be able to get a picture taken tomorrow when I get my custom FMIC installed... But Doesn't get any better than the above, hence my question if it would fit, seeing how they use the same exact OEM pipe... (Slip on variety).

links just in case you think i'm making this up:
F10: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...62&hg=18&fg=10

E70: http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...62&hg=18&fg=10

I am going with your Catless version downpipe on my 535xi,

will catless version throw a CEL because of O2 sensor is reading different ## compares to the stock setting?

did you throw O2 spacer to fool the sensor its reading low ##?

after contacting Terry@Burgertuning, their BMS CAN tool is NOT compatible with our F10 N55..... which doesnt make sense why they are selling it to our F10 N55 owners in the first place..

Yes, the catless version will throw a CEL. We are working with Burger Motorsports on a fix that should be released soon!

The BMW ECU is very complex and spacing the O2 sensor does not clear the increased carbon reading to the secondary sensor. The ECU is looking for a very specific algorithmic signal that must be adjusted electronically.

They sell the CAN tool to the E90/E92 N55 and E82 N55 platforms - the F10 has a different ECU even though it is the same engine. Bavarian Technic is still working on the coding for the F10 chassis which hopefully should be released soon.
