That wheel there is a replica wheel. There are a few different styles out there for M6 wheels, so there's a lot of confusion. I'll send you a PM on more info on them real quick.

OEM M6 wheel size & offsets
19x8.5 ET12 19x9.5 ET17 This will not work on a 3 series as a direct bolt on fitment as the offsets are too aggressive. The picture that you posted above is of a replica M6 wheel. It definitely isn't the best replica either. As you probably can tell, the space in between the spokes are quite wide to the point where you can most likely stick your entire finger through them. One of the best M6 replica wheels out there are the M6 type 346 setup that has been extremely popular ever since they were introduced nearly 7 years ago. The M6 type 346 wheel are manufactured to meet the HIGHEST performance, quality, and safety standards in the industry. The wheel passes JWL and VIA standards to ensure the highest level of safety/quality. They are also low pressure cast which do utliize the same manufacturing process as most OEM wheels. Sure, there are many other brands and styles but you really do get what you pay for. The best way for me to explain this is through pictures and a brief description which you can view below. To the moderators, this is not an advertisement but is information for forum members. M6 type 346 As you can see the space in between each spoke is relatively narrow, just like how the actual OEM M6 wheel. M6 Generic Brand - as you've posted The space in between each spoke is relatively wide and you can literally stick your entire finger through. Thanks for the response and PM Allen, that explains things.
Are the ones I posted going to work on an '06 e90, with the 37 front and 40 rear? (just in case I can get a screaming deal on them...) I'm not 100% sold on them, and wasn't aiming for 19" wheels on my car, but the guy listed them as original BMW wheels. And the asking price was right....for BMW wheels. |

What's up? I actaully fit authentic m6 wheels on my 06 330i. I'm running stretches tires though. 225/35/19 and 265/30/19. Very agressive fitment. Running them without spacers as well. |

Yes, it's definitely possible to fit low offset wheels on the car. It will be aggressive and will require you to run a stretched tire and most likely will require you to modify/roll your fenders. The later would be a requirement if you're car is lowered.

Thanks all. Still talking to the guy. He claims they're OEM, but as Allen mentioned, OEM M6 doesn't have that offset.
Trying to find out what they are now. Any idea what I should pay for a set like that? |
