For Sale: iPhone 4 32GB (Black) - Factory Unlocked w/Apple Care

** APOLOGIES THIS PHONE DOES NOT BENEFIT FROM APPLECARE **

Dear All,

I have 'for sale' the above device.

It was bought by me 'sim free' (i.e. unlocked to all networks) from Apple in December 2010. It is in excellent condition and fully working; having never been Genius Bar swapped/replaced/repaired/stolen/jailbroken etc. - I even have the original box with accessories. The device is under Apple's original 12 month factory warranty until December this year; and being bought 'sim free' it will work on ANY GSM SIM based network globally.

I will ship the device fully factory restored, running 4.3.4 (yes I know 4.3.5 is out but there have been reported WiFi issues with it so I haven't upgraded). Potential buyer is more than welcome to collect from Milton Keynes (or possibly Ilford) - so you can test the device and make sure you're 100% happy before parting with any money.

I am asking, what I believe to be, a reasonable £355 (inc. Special Delivery) - preferably by direct bank transfer - and will stake my reputation on forum that it is exactly as described.

Please feel free to e-mail or PM - thanks!

Pre-order for IP4S confirmed by Apple to be delviered 14/10. Any offer over £335 (collection) or £355 (RM SD) secures - else its recycle for £300.

If recycle is £300 tops why not let a forum member have it for that price mate?

Cause I need every penny to pay for the IP4S :P

And just because recycle will pay that, it doesn't mean that its the 'fair' price...just the lowest cash/scrap value.

I really cant understand your logic?

I'd rather sell to a forum member who is part of this community and can put it to good use rather than a faceless body

I guess it would be like a dealer selling you your E92 335d at cost because they know you'd really appreciate it and that you're a nice guy. Pretty soon that would catch on and everyone would be selling stuff just for what it cost them to produce. Then people might start to wonder why we have a monetary system at all. Obviously at that point civilisation as we know it would collapse. Then how would we get our iPhone 4S?

And it would be all your fault.

It's like Googling Google. Just don't do it.

I've highlighted the interesting bit...I'm pleased you touched on that, the civilised thing is to sell it for what its worth

I seen a while back,a car on here for sale, anyone give me £10,200 if not its going to the Dealers for £9800 tomorrow..Its posts like this that I really cant understand?

Monetary system? You do make me smile, its hardly going to affect the economic plight if someone sells things for what they are worth is it?Indeed,it may help the world as we really find out the true cost of things....

Money is only as good as the things it can buy and things will only sell (especially these days) for what they are worth....

I really abhor people jumping on for sale threads and taking the piss when they have no intrest in buying,it wasn't my intention and was genuinely interested!Whats even worse is clever shits trying to be funny behind the pc

To the OP,GLWS

PS I paid 55k for a 4.4 X5 in 2003 and sold it to wbac last year for 8k lol

In my opinion, 300 quid from anyone is 300 quid.

If I was offering it, for example, I would pay you + postage (so say 320) via bank transfer right away.

A recycler will want the phone first and based on my experience, is then likely to 'downgrade' the phones condition to B or something. You'll then ask for it back which will take all in a few weeks, the 4s will be out and your value will have dropped.

All I'm saying is, and what I suspect others mean to say is... If someone here offers you a fair price like 330-340 for an easy sale you should consider it. Not that I'm saying you wouldn't either, as its not even you arguing the toss.

I suppose the net result is that now you just have 3 people crapping your thread. Sorry dude.

At least it sparked a discussion I know they don't mean anything by it, so no offence taken. I thought that, given the state of the market now, my offered price wasn't taking the piss in anyway

Much prefer collection, that way buyer gets to see/handle the phone and be safe in the knowledge they are happy with everything before parting with any cash.

I wish I could afford to be generous; and for a Forum Member, I will where I can. There will always be cheaper but I'm asking what I beleive to equitable given the process invovled with recycle/collection/postage

Thank you for pointing that out. Good job I'm don't intend to sell to them

FYI O2 recycle £280+ and dough-dough £290+ ...£300 is still readily achievable

I can't believe how many for sale threads end up in a farcical debate in here.

The guy has put his phone up for sale and if you don't like the price, don't buy.

No idea what these phones go for but if it goes for £300 on a recycling site, the asking price seems good to me.

Selling on forums I normally work with the logic that I sell for what I'd get in my pocket on eBay. Basically the eBay selling price minus fees.

That obviously translates to me getting the same amour of money in my pocket and another forum member benefitting and not eBay.

Exactly. Too many smart asses here who are ready to comment on prices when they have no intention to buy.
