Hi,
I'm a bit thick when it comes to computers!!

But what is the difference between both laptop and a notebook.

I am looking for a suitable computer to put photoshop on etc, I do not wish it for games etc.

Where about in Cheshire are you?

It might be a simple question to some but if I get the right answer I will put in a serious offer (once I have verrified the price/value).
Not that I am doubting the seller but I have seen stuff on here for sale when after a small amount of digging are clearly cheaper brand new elsewhere.
Thanks
Mac.

Can you not simply return it? Or are you in fact looking to get some cash for somethign you'd previously expensed Dodge Mr Tax and all that..

not that I blame you

For £430-450 this would be a great buy, if anyone on here is interested: I'd go for it.

I'm looking at this through the very same (albeit a higher spec.)

I've owned a LOT of laptop computers, and i think this is the best i've had.

This is a good buy guys.

Notebooks are smaller than laptops, hence bit more expensive for the same power? That's how I have always viewed it.

Mega, actually it's something far more innocent that that but no we can't return it. As I am struggling with the darn mac, I am tempted to sell the mac and keep this one!

Thanks for the positive comments guys. Few peeps are making offers on PM, so looks like this will be sold by tomorrow.

I bought the new Air 13" i5 with 4gb of ram, just over a month ago now.

I will sell it for the right offer yes - it was £1099, plus i bought the keyboard, magic mouse and a DVI adaptor. Also bought a neoprove sleeve to protect it when I am out and about.

They are nice machines yes...but OS X...hmm its ok.
