try these guys, maybe french but have dealers in the uk as well good range and not expensive.

Got a couple of Runflats Blizzacks 4mm sat in Callander, also have a mate who travels up and down to Aberdeen on a monthly basis. £50 the pair.

Also thinking about it, got a pair of E46 17" with Vredestiens (probably about 3mm+) tread would need to check when I'm next back in the UK - was looking to again sell for about £50 the pair including the wheels
