So two interesting things happend today on the way home from a ball game.

In the parking lot at the larkspur ferry in Marin, and I watched a Honda CRV not look while backing up and just ran into a car that stopped for him. Got out and gave the guy who got hit my business card incase he needed a witness. People need to watch where they drive.


Then on my way through San Rafael I was stuck behind a Landrover who was going 25 in a 35 in the number 1 lane. I got around him, maybe going 40. Then pull infront of him as a light was coming up. Had like five car lenghts on him by this point.

Aparently I pissed my Smarty pants off with his newly purchased used land rover as he cuts through two lanes of traffic on the right so he can pull up next to me and tells me if I keep driving like that I was going to kill myself. This was after he nearly hits my car trying to get my attention. Guy was old enough to be my father, with what looked like his wife in the car.

I proceed to roll down my window, ask him what his problem is and tell him he is nuts.

I continue on my way. He swerves through some more traffic to keep up with me and pulls next to me after I turn left onto a one way street with him next to me. I roll down the window, tell him "I am sorry he woke up on the wrong side of the bed" He asks me if I want to go. Tell him Im sorry and roll up my window. He swerves off cutting more traffic off.


What the hell is wrong with people. Just because I have a "nice" car and look like I am barely 21 (almost 25..but I look young) does not mean I am a trust fund baby. and even if I was, whats your problem man...just a guy and his girlfriend, leave me be.

Just thought I would share. Some people really need to re-evaluate their lives if yelling at a 20 some year old in a BMW is your way of gracing the world with your knowledge.

And I've noticed people who drive CR-V's suck at driving in general.

yes, there are lots of people with problems and short temper. its hard to hold back especially when someone is being a jerk as you are driving. well, dont go down to his level, and lets feel sorry for a old guy who hasnt learned life lessons even at that age. tell him, "I feel sorry for you man!" and with his landrover he has no choice but to look at your fading tail lights.

id have kept my windows up, not acknowledged a thing. ppl just arent worth dealing with...

yea very true. and honestly had I not been in Marin County I would have never rolled my window down and would have kept driving. Still stupid on my part ill admit that.



and woot for giving that guy my business card. I know a few people who got screwed because there was no witness.

No, I was pretty sure she was shocked that it was mine since I look pretty young. I know everyone in L.A. has a BMW, but for some reason with the encounters I have had with old women they are mean, angry, and bitter.

Dude I always run into a problem when I pass someone going under the speed limit. Just today I passed a dumbass on a SRT8, he was doing about 10 under the speed limit, well he decides to play Mr. Asshole and guns it and flips me off. General rule ignore them and keep driving. I could have gave him the finger or talk smack, but I was lucky enough to have a cop making a right turn see the whole thing and pulled his ass over.

Rule #1: Don't interact with hooligans in traffic.

Rule #2: Stupid shit like this isn't worth anyone's time. I understand the need to vent, but this happens on an hourly basis.

Rule #3: If you look young in a fancy car, some people will naturally be offended. Your job is to take the passive stance.

Plus mentioning his "newly used" range rover is slightly demeaning and judgmental, which is what you are complaining about in the first place. This entire mentality should be eradicated.

Have you noticed? Since the Big Brother cameras went up, road rage is down, 101 & 280. Not to mention, license plate readers/database & your cell's easily located.
