Genuine BMW Style 216 WTCC 18" Alloy Wheels and Tyres

My first for sale thread and I have for sale a VERY RARE set of stunning GENUINE 18" BMW Style 216 WTCC MOTORSPORT wheels. These came with the WSR (West Surrey Racing) promo car which I have recently purchased. I will also be advertising some SPARCO bucket seats aswell with the fixing brackets and harnesses.

The wheels are in NEAR PERFECT condition with minor storage marks (one major mark is photo'd) and are all fitted with very expensive Bridgestone RE050 runflat tyres. Rear tyres are brand new and front have VERY little wear, probably 50-100 miles.

Front tyres are 225/40/18 (Both have 8mm tread)
Rear tyres are 255/35/18 (Both have 8mm tread)

8JX18 (BMW Part No. 36116770464)
8.5JX18 (BMW Part No. 36116770465)

These are very rare wheels and usually come fitted on only E90 3 Series 320si ltd edition models.

They will fit all the 3 Series E9X range models (E90 E91 E92 E93).

These alloys with tyres will cost in excess of £3000 from stealers or over £1900 if you shop around (link in post 4)!

I am asking for £1200 but open to offers (cash on collection). Will consider splitting.

Location Stoke-on-Trent.

They were on the 3 door 130i Limited Edition, but the offsets are wrong.

They were on the Edition Sport 3 series a few years back I think and of course the 320si.

would be looking to spend around them same if i were to buy a set of these
9mm tread? Them tyres must be unique!

Seiously getting pissed off by the members on here with their opinion on the price. Something like your above post and numerous other ones could be PM'd rather than pretty much spamming my FS thread.

Price dropped to £1000 or nearest offer.

Problem with that is people on here usually know roughly what value something is and will think they're giving you good advice to get the wheels shifted. You would probably get more for the wheels on ebay but then you'd have to fork out on the fees.

That I don't have a problem with, but the fact that members decide to spam the threads rather than PM me is astonishing. Maybe it's just me, I come from forums where no 'spam' is tolerated.

I understand where you're coming from cdti, but the point is that this is a forum and so comment is invited, in fact, that's the whole point. If you feel that people speculating on your price is detrimental to your sale then you should use the classifieds. A thread like this is bound to generate feedback, good or bad.

Yes but with a different offset - the e9x wheels will not fit.

If items are posted in the classified section at a reasonable price they will sell just like the other thread for the Csl reps ive just bought and the guy didnt have a negative comment just people asking sensible questions for a sensibly price sale.

In this thread you came in with a price thats over the top for a forum based sale and people tried to advise you in a way to help get a sale at a fair forum price rather than ebay and the hassle that goes with it,but you took offence so the popcorn started flowing.

The easy way out would have been to update the thread with price reduced as you have or just say wheels withdrawn from sale and sold them elsewhere.

Mate its a forum what do you expect.
If members of the forum think your alloys are expensive I wouldn't take offence.
