+1 Free bump. I'd like to know also. I'll check with my brother who races in SCCA on the weekends. Those guys probably know where to get it.

I think the only people looking for this will be PROcede owners...LOL!!!!

That rocks. I was under the impression that the 100 octane fuel wasn't suitable for street cars. Is it unleaded 100 octane?

Any report from Firebird on Friday night? What did you run?

There's a gas station at 56th @ Bell (southeast corner) that has racing gas but I thought it was off-road only. In any case, I'll go by there and find out what they have and the price and post it here.

Do you need the race gas for a daily use or just for the track/dyno? Firebird raceway sells race gas on the weekends, they typically have a race fuel trailer. Also I believe that AZdynochip can get you race gas.
Last but not least if you can't find 100oct anywhere we do have a 100oct gas station here in Tucson (one hour away).

Good luck!

Did you go to the track then? if so, what did you run?

Yes I went to the track..... It was Crazy busy. I got there at 8:30 and closed the track at midnight I only got 3 runs in.... 1st run 14.468 @ 102.69mph.. I had Traction control completely off. I launched at 1500rpm and spun through 1st-2nd gears... obviously killing my time.. On the street I can do this up to 2000 rpm and get a good launch.. the track was really slick and Ive only been there once before... So the next time I just pushed the button once quickly to eliminate wheelspin... I also used the water pit and tried to warm up the tires this time.... Awesome launch but at about 95mph the engine light came on and I went into limp mode....... I obviously let off the gas and coasted the rest of the way.. I was a bit frustrated and almost went home.. but I turned the car off and back on and it seemed to be fine..Still somehow managed a 13.697 @92.83mph....Guess that shows the potential....... Temp was at 260... Last run... I didnt power brake or anything like that because I was nervouse about the temps... So I just mashed the pedal when the light turned green..13.730 @ 103.80mph.... Now everyone always talks about 60 ft times so in case you want to know... in order from 1st to last run 2.710, 2.207, 2.246.. Reaction times .426, .220, .569...

Now 2 of the runs I raced an 06 M3 and I won both times...He ran 14.33 @99.11 and 14.366 @98.93... So either track conditions sucked... or more than likely it was us...the drivers.... =0)

Also on the way home a ran into an 05 supercharged mustang and we raced from about 0-100 and he didnt stand a chance.... Yesterday morning I did the same to an 06 C6 vette.... Procede rocks!!

I surely have no clue how to launch this car at the track and I only had Procede installed for one day prior so I am still learning to drive with the new power. I plan on making it out there again on May 4th or 11th... I have my 19" M6 reps in the garage waiting for rubber... Hopefuly they'll be here by then.. Also I need to try downloading a different map for Procede so I dont overheat... Cant imagine what will happen at 100+ degrees outside... sigh..

a C6 Vette didn't stand a chance while you're still trying to learn how to launch? mmmmh...

I have a lot of respect for C6s. The few encounters that I had they put a hell of a fight: we’re talking about a mid 12's @ 113+ car, hence my skepticism about how easy you beat him. There are plenty of kill stories out there talking about 335s walking away from C6s with ease, and I do believe some of them: you can't go wrong with Procede's monster torque. However I was expecting more from 335 on the quarter mile, and I'm talking about trap speed. A car that literally blows the doors off a 113mph car should post 116-117mph in the quarter instead of 106-108mph average and 13's.

I am also dissapointed by my 1/4 mile times....Im going again soon to improve the times... I didnt expect to take the vette either. It was one of my customers and he said he'd race for fun and I even told him I thought he'd beat me no problem... Mines auto and he has a stick....maybe he's not the best at shifting quickly.. He said it was his 3rd vette so I'd imagine he knows how to drive it... Also shouldnt the 06 M3 put up better times than 14 seconds?

Just because someone has had something for a while doesn't mean they're any good at it. It just means they've had it for a while. Even with a Procede, TT or any "non-stock" 335, the best you should expect to do against a stock C6(w/a decent driver) is break even in the 1/4 mile. Any longer than that and the HP and weight advantage for the C6 will show itself. Yes, the M3 should be putting up much better times than that.

Yes, especially since he's got a LSD. In fact, I am surprised with the PROcede torque that you were able to get any kind of a launch with the open diff in the 335i. Our cars will never do well at the dragstrip without a LSD.

Seriously though, I would really like to come down and see you run your PROcede 335i at Firebird next time. Any chance you could post when you know for sure which night you're going? I haven't been to Firebird since I stopped racing my 87' Mustang GT (which ran 14.77 @ 96mph with a TALL 2.73 rear gear).

First off, on street tires don't use the water box! Also, keep the 18's around to use at the track. The 19's will spin even more and may be heavier, too.

Would love to see/ride in a Procede car before I take the plunge. Have another 2 months before my car is here...

Also, check the azbmw.org forums and the SW regional forum on vwvortex.com for more euro cars willing to hit the track with you.

I will definitely be there with my car after it's delivered. Just completed production today!!! I probably won't thrash it dragstrip style until I'm well into the "break-in" period...I don't fully subscribe to the hard break in theory.

Well I got my new tires on.... I dont see how they would have less traction than the stock 18" rft's.... I got 275 rears and 245 fronts.. Also they aren't runflats. I believe the new rims are slightly lighter than stock as well..... I could be wrong but Im pretty sure thats what I read on the forum somewhere.

That's awesome. Any chance you could post some pics of car from the rear and maybe some closeups showing the clearance in the wheel well? What tires did get?

Ill take some pics and try to get em posted tomorrow night... I got the General Exclaim UHP's.... Everyone has been raving about them and they are cheap so I was game to try em.. I actually rub in the back when going over some dips in the road... I also have H&R sport springs in my garage that I was about to install but I see no need for them now.. I am probably going to have to roll the rear fenders as it is.. I was told that I wouldnt rub with this setup by another forum member and thats why I did it... I am definitely not disappointed either way. It looks sick and handles well.... I think it looks pretty aggressive as well.
