All I have to say is, if true, it's about time. He was a terrible driver and a worst teammate.

Not just Karthikeyan, Luizzi were also in the action at some point in the race, there was once that he had to dodge into the painted area at the start-finish straight.

Man, HRTs are horrible in race pace. They're more suitable to become a "safety car".

^^ Agreed. HRT would make a fantastic safety car. Not good for much else. I wanted to kick them all in the nuts for ruining Webber's run away from Alonso last weekend

This has now been confirmed. Ricciardo will drive for HRT at Silverstone.

Honestly, at least I have a reason to pay attention to them now. He seems to be on the rise.

I read that this was a one race deal that was agreed to previously, not permanent.

If he races well, I doubt it'll be a 'one race deal' for him in the long run.

The only thing I've seen mentioned that would keep Ricciardo out of the remainder of 2011 races is the new Indian Race which I heard Karthikeyan might get to drive. I believe the rest are Ricciardo's now though.

He would be perfectly within his rights to have them both taken out back and beaten severely....in the Pinnacle of motorsport, you should know how to not occupy the racing line when you're getting lapped in the first 10 laps of the race...

also, RacingUnderground's continued state of offline-ness is really getting irritating.
