When I turn on car, Bluetooth automatically shows "Connected" but I'm not on a call
I tried searching this but came up with nothing... However I imagine other people have had this problem--
When I turn on the car, my phone automatically connects with the bluetooth. But sometimes the display will show "Connected" as if I'm on a call, even when I have not initiated a phone call. This happens intermittently but is always right after turning the car on. Music continues to play but I do not have the ability to change tracks or disconnect the "call". I usually have to place a call and disconnect to make the screen reset. Is there a solution to this? Thanks. |

Software update. I had the same thing happen to but after they HPFP replacement and software updated it never happen again. Just take it in and see if they can update your software.

not to make it sound bad but it could be a slight software mix up, like how our computers go little quirky after turning it on for too long... it probably just needs to settle in.

It *could* also be the phone... Not all bluetooth stacks are created equal, and not all of them play nice with each other. There's a thread somewhere where people listed phones that work well with the integrated bluetooth.

It's just telling you the phone and car BT signals have connected. I get this message on my phone each time I start the car.

Not that it isn't one of the other issues, but from what you describe its this ^^^. You want your phone and BT to connect automatically, unless you have your wife in the car and your gf might be calling or something like that. In that case, its a bit inconvenient....

This is right, I do want my phone and car to connect via BT immediately upon entry of the car. But I don't want it to think that I'm currently in a call when I'm actually not.
I had a software update for HPFP a while ago. Is there an additional BT software update available? |
