This is weird?

My cars throttle reponce, accleration, and pull are much better when i have about 20 milesleft in the tank. When the car has more than 1/5 of gas left in the tank it drives like shit bad throttle reponce, bad acceleration, and no pulling power. I though it could be the weight but wrong, so i got 5 people in my car with 20mpg left in the tank its still moticable faster than 1/2 a tank in the car and only me in it. What hell is going on, i think its the dam hpfp again?
