E-92 Acceleration

Hey,

I posted on here a couple of months back about an issue with my car.

Since getting it back from the dealers after the valvetronic motor was replaced its never felt quite as potent as it did. Now they did update the software first time around and then again went back in after mentioning this issue, however it doesn't feel as strong in acceleration as it used to, feels laggy at times.

I had a spirited drive at the weekend and it's probably quite a subjective thing but sometimes in 2nd / 3rd around 2.5k revs if I push hard on the accelerator, you only get a push back at say 4.5k, other times I've done exactly the same thing and you hit 2k revs and its pushing you back (If that makes sense). To me it feels really laggy, almost like the turbos aren't kicking in until high into the rev range. The weird thing is, its off and on because driving hard at times and its quite brutal in its pull.

Dealer assured me it had the latest software applied, not sure what to do. Considering calling an Indy (Darren Wood?) to have a once over it to see if somethings up.

Anyone have any clue's as to what might be up. It was great before it went into the dealer

N55 motor btw.

Heard that before....

An independant check over would be useful, Woods are the best you'll get around Manchester.

Not sure about the manual gearbox....

but my one, (even before the JB plus....) I could feel the kick/ torque from 1k rpm....

sometimes there is a slight delay, from when i floor it and the acceleration...but i think thats down to the auto shit gearbox....

you should feel some good torque from 1k....and proper power within the 3k -6k rpm rev range.....

I actually think that it does "lack" a little bit of power near the top end of the rev range....

and the power delivery should be very linear....
