COBB AP Stage 2?

So have we heard any word on the COBB AP stage 2?

I am ready for more power! lol

From last time I talked to Kevin (Kevin works at Cobb in Plano) this is what he told me:

1. Get 2007 AP out of beta
2. Get Stage 2 out for N54
3. Get Access Tuner out for N54
4. Get N55 support

He quoted me no dates and even said it could be in 2 weeks that the first item was finished, or 2 months. But that's the order they are working on things...and as a reference 2007 is still in beta...

Yup. And Rob's come down twice to diagnose stuff on my car (2007) that I was having trouble with. Still in beta...

Ya i have an 07 and its still in beta, I put the AP on mine about 6 weeks ago, have they had any updates for it since?

Lets hope that it gets out of beta soon and get stage 2.

Do you know if we will need any more bolt ons (intercooler, exhaust, downpipes, BOV, etc) for stage 2?

i'm almost positive you'll need a FMIC and DP's for Stage 2.

those will probably be the 2 main requirements.

my Cobb is awesome - nuff said.

Well, FYI:

1. Get 2007 AP out of beta <--DONE!!
2. Get Stage 2 out for N54
3. Get Access Tuner out for N54
4. Get N55 support

We are moving down the list. 2007 is out of beta! So Stage 2 is closer now

Final 2007 is out. If you update your AP with your software it'll automatically grab the final 2007 build.

did it come out about 2 weeks ago because there was a firmware update it said the first week of june...

how do I update it in the car, uninstall and reinstall?

No, those are firmware updates to include additional ROMs on the stage 1 tune. At minimum, you'll need a FMIC and potentially downpipes as supporting mods for the stage 2 and 2+ tunes.

There are no changes to the '07 beta maps. They just wrapped up getting all the DME ROM's supported. So if you had an '07 and were running a Cobb Stage 1 two months ago, you have exactly the same thing as what is available today. Nothing changed, they are just officially out of beta now.
