Have many had a false TPM warning? Driving on a motorway today (with fairly prominent cats eys) the warning light came on, this is only the 2nd time I've had it and the previous was a valid alert. Slowed down to 80km and I could get the sense that I had a flat, but drove to a garage and checked the pressure and all seemed ok, re-set the gauge and drove another 4klm or so and no further warnings

Is the TPM prone to false alarms?

You mean Flat tyre monitor ? Afaik we dont get TPM in our cars.

And yes the FTM does give false alarms sometime.

I've had loads ... and only once was there a problem. I had a total flat on the same car and the damned thing never came on

Mine came on the other day so I checked the tyres which were all ok. Might have been because I had 4 people in the car? - a first for a long time!

I then drove 450 miles to wales & back with no issues

its just the image quality mate, i have the same warning light on my car and it is red too
