Not very knowledgeable when it comes to mechanical stuff. What does it mean when you have to roll back or put the car in reverse to then engage 1st gear when in traffic lmao!! Quite embarassing today, had traffic behind be becuase it wouldn't engage so had to put in reverse, chap behind me started going mad lol.

Cars done 54k, 320si. Probably was abused by previous owner lol.

sometimes just take foot off clutch and then back on again does the trick....but if that doesn't work maybe your clutch is on the way out mate.

Thanks mate i'll try that in future. Not sure about the clutch because there doesn't seem to be any slip... maybe selector?? Also can hear a faint whine which sounds like its coming from the diff.

Think i may have bought a bit of a lemon just had the steering fixed. I like the car a lot but these little nigggles are starting to annoy. Another thing build quality on a 30k car is shocking.

What did they fix on your steering at the service? Intresting to know?
Then about the shifter. I have a brand new Getrag gearbox in my Si and it is the same struggeling some times to put in the first gear. Try to put in the second gear first then the first when you standing still, and it wil work.

And the buildquality i think i very good if you where thinking of the interior or the hole car? Have you driven other japaneescars for example, the feel are very poor and the noise inside are very high!

I have two cars, and using my Honda Civic Type-R 2004 every day to the jobb, and drive my Bmw on holidays with my girlfriend. Itś like stepping inside a nice and quiet luxury lounge/ living room. Its a nice positiv feeling every time i think.
