Angry Drivers who don't signal

I just hate people who don't signal when changing lanes. When they're far away, I don't care. But sometimes, some jerks cut in front of me (even though there's not enough room) without signalling and I have to abruptly brake or I'll hit them.

I find this inconsiderate trend particularly true of some BMW drivers. Is it that hard to signal? The E46 turn signals were easy to use, so there's no excuse. However, the E90 turn signals do take some getting used to, so I could understand, but still, it's rather inconsiderate.

I find Mercedes Benz drivers don't indicate in South Africa. It kills me!!!

Alot of my friend tell me BMW drivers are so terrible, but I don't see it. I think it's that other BM drivers show me respect - whereas they don't show "as much" respect to other cars.

I always indicate and am always curtious to other drivers! *noddy badge*

I hate when you DO use your blinkers and try to merge or change lanes and some people are still jerks and react like they have entitlment to the road in front of them. I guess they can't judge distance or have no hand/eye cordination.

I don't mind the non blinkers as much, but getting cut off does suck. Especially those big a** trucks that are jacked up and drive 100mph.

You may want to avoid New Jersey at all costs.
Using blinkers here is a sign of weakness.

I haven't noticed this much at Buffalo but it's definitely a problem when I drive to work everyday at NYC/NJ during the summers...Gotta love the cab drivers!

But I never had problem with other BMW drivers yet...

I think that the e90 indicator activation is very easy to use. Granted one can get a little confused if you indicate one way and want to cancel the indication. Takes a little getting used to but I like the 3 blink lane chane operation. I use it fairly regularly.

I think people all over the world will find that other drivers in their city/country dont indicate. Then there are many who do, just like me.

3 blinks for our e90s
blink, blink....hooray; blink, blink....hooray; blink, blink....hooray;

I agree David. I am a lot better at the indicator activation after 2 months of driving. I definitely agree that it's been very useful!

Some people who drive lorry are also dangerous drivers. They like to follow you and you're forced to change you lane because they use blinkers. After you leave their eye sight, they can drive faster away

I think this is an issue of personal dicipline and responsible driving. The car brand and type has nothing to do with this.

Sign of weakness is correct, there's a lot of drivers in NJ that will speed up to not let you in if you signal ahead of time. They will block you, esp if its busy and during rush hour. You have to make sure there's a gap and signal/turn at the same time.

Too many uptight and assinine people out here in the NY metro region that can't bear the thought of having someone move in front of them.

I especially hate it when I'm wanting to make a left turn, and the oncoming car turns left also, but didn't bother signaling the fact, of course making me wait to make my turn until he actually makes his, if he'd only signaled I could have gotten through the intersection that much sooner...

Yeah, they don't really bug me when there's a good distance, but...some people do it so abruptly it makes me so mad.

Nonetheless, I try my best to make others have a pleasant commute when they're around me. When others also show driving etiquette, it makes my day a little better.

I'm buying an E90 just for those magic turn signals...maybe now I can reach that damn thing even with my cell phone, Big Mac and coke in hand, knee steering the car.
