So exited...

I just ordered my s1 sonic tuning coils today and im ordering my wheels tomorrow. I would like some feedback because i just cant make my mind up. Im getting the linea corse dyna in 19's so that much is certain but now im stuck with deciding the finish and the offsets. Dont mind doing the fender roll but this is a DD and i haul my wife and 2 year old son around in this so i dont know if the m3 offsets will be a good idea since i hear that i can only run the fk452's or toy t1r's. I really dont like the 452 and i dont know about the t1r. All of the feedback is greatly appreciated and btw my car is a bsm 08 328i sedan. Thanks guys looking forward to your opinions...

I wouldn't risk it personally and would get normal offsets. If you want more aggressive later you can add spacers. Wouldn't risk it with a wife and kids. That's just my opinion.

Mikes, right on the spot with that. Get regular offsets, like 38front and 33rear and run 10mm spacers. It will give you lots more flexibility. Plus you may need spacers for clearance for the front struts. I needed at least 3mm extra clearance with my FK's. Be sure to research to see if you this is required for your coilovers.

Also, if you need some Falken 452s, I've got some for sale with less than 80 miles on them. They are in the SW forum, but they are going on sale to the general forum today.

im not sure about e90 and rear wheel wells... but im on e92 with 19x10 +32 and im rubbing. you can ask michael1284 how much of asking and asking thread after thread i had to post to only managed to get 70% of problem fixed.

to be honest... your link with e46 wouldnt apply to any e9x since their fenders and wheel wells are designed differently with more room, especially an M3 on top of that... if you take a look inside your wheel well where rear quarter pannel and bumper meet, there is a 1inch lip that sticks out towards your wheel. that cannot be rolled only be cut and even at that fender rollers will not reach close enough to roll near that part... thus causing rubbing issue.

youre going to need a major negative camber(compared to OEM spec), fender rolling+bit of pulling, alignment with some toe out. it will be hard to find places that will do the toe out alignment... you may have better luck but from my experience im still rubbing. also toe out on RWD cars are NOWAY recommended.

my previous car was lowered 2" all around with 18x8.5 & 18x9.5 and had negative camber and everything i just listed above. i will not do this to e92 or try to do least of them because of tire wear and high price of tires these days... you will eat up your tires.

HINT notice the cheaper $85 tire in the rear compared to KDW in the fronts.

Thanks for the references guys its appreciated. The link is only to show the finish of those wheels not sizing. I ordered my dynas today and they are on back order so it will be 8-10 week wait. Now I just need to figure what size spacers im going to need. I heard the coils will make it rub.
