Suspension work in Dallas??

Anybody know a good place that's not overpriced for some suspension work?

I keep hearing a clunking sound from my right rear suspension anytime i go over sharp impacts.

when you find one, be sure to remove the corpse from your trunk before taking it in
...wish I had some valuable information for you though, besides jokes

fix it yourself too. if you dont have the knowledge/tools to replace, then just get some grease and slap it on the bushings and see if it helps.

really? I hope you're not suggesting this as a permanent fix? as a 'see if it helps and then get it resolved if there's a difference' maybe?

no, i meant this as if you grease the bushing, and it quiets down, then he knows he has a bushing issue. why pay labor to locate a problem he can do on his own.

sorry for the misunderstanding.

I always point people looking for suspension work to PTP in Ft. Worth. Alternate option would be Cobb in Plano.

Hey guys,
Just as a quick update. Went to Ultimate Bimmer Service and met Ryan and Brent and they were awesome. Took care of my car at exactly what the scheduled time was. Did a thorough run through, took a drive before and after to make sure problem was resolved. Walked me through what the problem was. Checked all other things, topped of my fluids and left me thinking I found my new mechanics.

I highly recommend them. They know their stuff, especially from asking them questions about random things which they knew exactly what they were talking about. Especially with a combined 19years of BMW mechanical experience between the two of them.

The problem was a cross threaded bolt/nut on the rear right lower arm that somebody didn't put back in all the way.
So they took out the piece, replaced it and tightened it to right specs and made it flush again. Problem resolved.
That along with the diagnostic/test drive/regular checks i was in and out in about 45 mins. And the grand total was zero!
They said since they didn't have to replace anything big and since it was just a really minor thing they said don't worry about it, just spread the good review... I told them I heard about them on bimmerpost and they said if you tell people to come and say I sent them they'd try to give them the best price.
So if you guys need any thing done, transmission, suspension, exhaust, headers, etc etc. They do an awesome job, they do anything but body work basically.
If you go, try saying "Anoop" (thats me) recommended you. (hopefully that'll work well for both of us haha)

Thanks,
Anoop
