Big up da E90Post, yo!

Folks

I would just like to take this opportunity to say something to this great forum.

I know I have had my differences, politically, with some people on here. Basically, these problems stem from me being what you could reductively call a 'Champagne Socialist', and God knows I have had a few intemperate exchanges with certain people, but I like to give credit where it's due, and I could cite numerous instances where people who have vociferously argued with me (and me with them) on off-topic subjects, have contributed helpful info on on-topic matters nonetheless.

In short: this is a great forum full of seriously good people, and I hereby apologise for any rude or aggressive or astringent or unemolient stances I have expressed in the past (or may, let's face it, express in the future), etc.

A great place to electronically 'be', this is.

Happy motoring, and motoring foruming, to one and all.

A happy dappy, hippy drippy, big loved up 'Yo' to everyone here.

As that greatest of comedians (and one of the, what, top five greatest ever Englishmen) Tony Hancock famously said, "You can always learn from other people, can't you?"

Salut!

I think anyone that is drunk, as FM clearly is, but can still use (and correctly spell) words such as "reductively", "intemperate", and "astringent" is to be congratulated.

That said, what does "unemolient" mean?

Perhaps he'll tell us in the morning, but then again..........

Happy Easter to all.

Mike.

Since we are on the subject of spelling and the likes, I'm presently rushing home from the pub after getting this message from the girl.

I agree with FM though, this is a great forum* I haven't owned a 'proper' BMW since Jan 08 (Minis don't really count) but I still find this is a great place to be, particularly as the UK Off Topic section is a Porsche forum in all but name

* apart from being frequented by a few too many Lefties

Most of what FM is talking about predates most of you, hence you won't know what he is on about. I do....

So to his post, I say, Word.

I think regardless of which forums (fora?) you frequent, you will always end up with misunderstandings, arguments and different opinions - that's human nature. This is one of the best forums I've used in that the majority of posters (in the UK at least) seem mature and literate.

Kudos for being man enough to apologise though

I still find it difficult to believe all the hoohaa over that argument, moutains out of molehills.

I bet though FM was on the cocktails

Bringing it back up would be to the detriment of the spirit shown in this thread mate, needless to say there were heated discussions!
