Got this exerpt from a Roundel archive article on brakes...

"Torque values must be adhered to. As previously mentioned, wheels must be properly torqued or the rotor can be warped, and if the rotor is replaced, it must also be properly torqued or it can warp within just a few heat/cool cycles. Do you know how many letters I get from people who pay big money to have just about all their brake components replaced because of vibration and then have the same problems within a few weeks? I would like to stand and watch that brake job being done and see it a torque wrench ever makes an appearance."

E90Fleet, Thanks.
this is my 1st beamer and I'm learning alot from here. Affrica use a different measuring system than the USA. Correct me if I'm wrong, if I would convert this 120Nm (newton meter) = 88.5 lb-ft.

What you are experience is called "warping" of the rotors. It happens commonly on brakes that arent totally cared for. Usually during the hot summer days, if you make extreme braking maneuvers and then leave the brake depressed (waiting at a red light for example) can cause warping of the rotors.

Of course they do. But thatīs what theyīre there for. I don that (and more) to my brakes almost every day. Full ABS braking from 255km/h to about 120km/h repeatedly.

I have no trouble with my brakes and no warped rotors.

What I did do though is the bed pads to the rotors properly (Which requires some very hard braking from 100km/h to 10 km/h for ten times directly after each other without ever coming to a full stop - until the brakes stink and glow...)

You donīt need different brakes. The 330 brakes are great. You need to learn how to treat them:
