Cannonball Run

All, I had a talk with Hans (Prez of M-Flight) and he said on the 23rd of Apr Pentagon Cars sales is doing a Cannonball Run of their own. I don't have allot of details but Hans and Mathias (works at Pentagon and my SA) said they'll keep me in the loop. Pentagon is still putting this together. But just like the real Cannonball run they're setting of a road course and will be having food abd such at the showroom. Everyone that enters to drive gets entered in a drawing for prizes. Hans siad he believes on of the top prizes will be a BMW driving class of some type. I'll probably volunteer some time helping in between my daughters opening day and softball game. Let me know if you'd like any info and I'll keep you all posted. Frank

No this is an open event. M-Flight is sponsered by Pentagon so they're, the M-Flight, just gonna help with check points and such. I believe the event will be advertised in the KA soon. Hans sentme an email so I'd know it's coming up so I cxan help if I want and to also spread the word. I'll post up info as I get it.

My understanding is the drive route will be around the area but PCS outside Ramstein will be hosting. I need to check to see if they have any updates as I've not heard yet.

Talked to Hans and the PCS marketing guy has been on leave but is now back and working it. Event should run 1000-1800 with the drive event part from 1300-1700. Not sure the route, length etc... PCS will have BBQ, games fo' da kids etc... Will post up soon as I get mo' info.

Looks like my daughters SB team has a buy and Hans will have enough people to man check points so I'm looking on driving the route. I think I have 2 coworkers that might go with me. One has a 08" 135 and the other will probably drive his Caddilac CTS-V. Let me know who maybe interested in gathering together. Frank

So it looks like I'll be at PCS round about 1100-1130ish, tentative, to grab some food and see whats going on. Buddy of mine will be in his CTS-V and I'll be in the 1er. May have another caddie in the bunch. Not sure if it's a mass start concept or not but we'd like to be there to roll 1300ish. Let me know if your planning to roll out and maybe we can all get together.

All in all it was a good day. Bimmerjim rolled and got to meet Nick. Will be taking a test ride in that beast at the Ring Nick don't forget! hahaha The ride was sweet and was lucky to pull a nice BMW watch in the Raffle.

Little off topic, FDM and I talked about getting a German America 1 club started up in the Ramstein area along the lines of M-Flight for the M cars. Thoughts?
