E91 Black Window Trims

I have the chromeline trims on the windows of my E91. Just sourced a set of Ellipsoids 18's and will be dropping the car ever so slightly - saw the attached picture of a black e91 with Ellipsoids and it looks the dogs with just a totaly black theme. I want to lose the chromeline window surrounds by colour coding the things to body colour(black) to give it a monochromatic look but the rear side windows have a trim at the bottom that appears to be fitted under the under glass - pulling it out concerns me incase I can't get it back in. Anybody done this before? Also anybody with a full set of black trims to sell for the E91 please let me know? Cheers

Not sure about the trims but I think those wheels look great on the E91

Best wheels on an E91. Sadly the missus won't let me have any and I still prefer the ride of 17s. But they really do look fantastic.

easy

Change your missus

then change your wheels!

(grow some bollocks man and tell your missus you NEED wheels as much as she needs her next new dress/bag/shoes/whatever!)

Sadly she's a bit of a car person too and is aware that tyre costs would rocket, the ride would be firmer, it wouldn't add any value to the car, etc, etc so she's not having any of it. Plus our recently properly refurbed 17s look new so she'd see no point.

While I generally get a pretty easy ride (ooh errr) there are some things that just cannot be agreed on. My little 17s are worth the easier ride both in the car and in the house...(!)

She's not a shoe/bags/girly stuff person. She'd rather we bought a Defender (which is strictly hers), a new surfboard, pay for school fees and eat out when possible. Oh and throw money at the kids!

I found out to buy that little piece of trim from BMW, it also comes with the rear side window attached - nasking tape out I reckon and a can from Halfords, BTW I want your leather seats Mr 33SD - nice colour - Has RAF555 offered you the alcantara M Sport interior yet - was tempted but its doing away with some damned comfy seats - done a few miles in a 325D M sport and have to say not as comfy as ours - still not bad but I have a back made from toffee and it needs cossetting
