E90 Mirror Help

Can anybody help me with my mirrors please.
I have a 2005 e90 and just aquired some 2009 mirrors of a e90 msport.
They fit my car perfect, but I have 2 connection blocks on mine,
The newer mirrors have only one block ?
I tried to connect them with the one block, but the mirrors wouldnt move ?
is there any mod that can be done so i can use them.

Sorry I can't help but can I ask why you changed them? Pre Lci mirrors are a much nicer shape than the big square Lci ones.
