Creaking front doors

Its been couple of weeks now since I've had 335i and only thing I dislike about it is that there is alot of creaking noise in the front doors. Thinking about taking to my local dealer but want to check with you guys if its covered under the manufacturer warrantly or not.

Thanks for you help.

Others on here recommend a simple wash with ordinary washing up liquid solution. Apparently silicone based stuff, and vaseline, are no-no's.

If it is a squeak from the door interior, or hinges, then.......no idea, sorry.

Mike.

Is the car still under warranty? if so take it back. Mine did this and the dealer fitted some kind of non-stick tape to the top of the door frame. Stopped it completely. there was a thread on this last year if you search, some have manged to stop it themselves. Basically you dont want silicone/wax near the door seals.

hmm noticed mine doing the same today for the first time. Its only over bumpy roads and only from the passenger side door. Looks like that side has a plastic door grab handle that the driver side doesnt have.

If I give it a push\pull with the door closed the handle creaks and feels very flimsy. The doors on my 2004 e46 felt more solid.

It's a well documented problem on here, dealers will know all about it but probably try to fob you off.
