Car Chex Warranty 335i- opnions

Hello,

If there is a Sticky for this please alert me. I am interested to hear feedback from anyone familiar with the CarChex extended warranty services and claims. I am looking at a 4 yr/48K mile coverage on my 335i with 62K miles. They want $3200 which is not bad, fully transferable and also refundable/pro-rated.

It has a $100 Dedusctible and no limits in claims or who services the repairs, with road side assistance and a rental car while repairs preformed. Covers about everything but lights/stereo and brakes/rotors/ Clutch/paint blah blah.

I only drive about 8K-12K year...

I did search in ripoffreport.com for "carchex" and found 6 complaints last year. Please check it out.

I recently bought a 5 year/100,000 mile Vemeco warranty from Carchex. 3050. Its exclusionary, $100 deductible. Only time will tell. I would rather have gone with a BMW warranty but it was only for an additional 3 years, and covered less. ALthough, like I say, when and if claims come about, we'll see if it was worth it or not.

I decided against Carchex because of all the negative reports on Vemeco. It's a gamble that i didn't feel like putting up with.
