Aiya.... My car delayed....

My sales just called me and told me my F10 didn't make it onto the 3/8 Venus Spirit.....

So probably won't get it until early May

Not driven the car hard enough for a review. However, it seems even softer than the M-sport that came with the car on straights, but less body rolls during cornering. Hard to say which one is better.....

So is that not a good thing, or not?
It came with full M sport susp.?

Relax, at this stage nothing more could happen to your car.. just hope the ship doesn't run into pirates or something.. j/k!

Just different. The FSD gives a more forgiving ride due to road imperfection, but less body roll at cornering. However, that also means the tires' traction counts a lot more with the FSDs. The 135i came with sport suspension which is quick firm. And a bit more body rolls than the FSD when cornering. But the 135i didn't skid with the sport suspension at cornering, but skids with the FSDs..... So I may end up changing back......

Back to the subject. I just donated 50K to red cross this morning for the Japan quake victims. And guess what! My sales told me I was lucky and mine F10 was one of the only 3 550i that made the earlier ship!

Proof that there is such thing as Karma in this world afterall......

actually did a bit of research and people said the Koni FSD is a bit soft even compare to stock (based on E46, E90, E60 and etc.). the KW & Bilstein on the other hand has good handling performance without getting harsh. that's why if I change the coilovers I would go for either KW or Bilstein.

good news for you mlai and you have a good heart. not sure about karma though since I am a Christian myself. may be Jesus is rewarding you with the early delivery for your generous donation.

No need to be sorry. I am kind of ashamed being a Chinese about the people's ridiculous actions......

Good for you!

But ironically, it is their samurai mentally, when used for good, is the most admirable. If there is a nuclear disaster in China, how many workers do you think will volunteer to keep working, fully understand that they may lose their lives, in order to save millions?

As Premier Wen mentioned, it is the Quality of the Chinese people that needs help....... But then again, probably ranting and just an opinion not worth 2cents.......

And not related to our beloved F10

Good people but bad government for japan. I admire their citizens but their government should be responsible for this crisis.

Let us all be content with what we have, so it will not take a tragedy for us to realise that.

Mlai, i truly find it amazing how 'karma' works sometimes, i was surprised at your story but at the same time it felt like thats the way it should be. A heart warming f10 story indeed.. hehe

So the skidding at cornering is due to the harder FSD which doesn't bend to the road imperfection as much so traction is lost easier?

Funny how it can be both harder and better cushioning.. i really need to try it to be able to understand it fully.
It's interesting quite a alot of people who have tried FSD don't prefer it..
