WTF?

You get stuck in the mud and then the wind blew a tree over?

Looks like Burlingame...not too many places in Northern CA with those trees so close to the road and a railroad right next to it.

Changed lanes and that somehow made me hydroplane, car started to rotate towards a car in lane #1 so I went to the right and it slid off the road into some deep mud, hit a tree hard enough to break it in half but no airbag deployment.

It was a weak/small tree so it broke and came along for a ride

Not Burlingame btw =p

On a side note, advice for anyone who is ever in an accident, if the car gets repaired be sure you have before and after pictures, so if your carfax ever reveals an accident you can reveal what the actual damage is and show that the vehicle wasn't welded together with another car to make one complete vehicle!

regardless of the cause... your threads about disabling dsc, etc.

due to silly stuff.

Just to clear the apparent confusion here, DSC was on. I don't ever turn it off, I assume the first guy mentioned it because of a guy on here a week ago was trying to perm. disable it and I gave him shit about it.

I can't imagine spending a 14 hr. work day looking for things on social networking sites, to use against others, I guess there's a job for everyone...

You would be surprised at what one could dig up on social networks.

I've had the car for a month or so, this is my 6th car and second accident in 11 years.

I work for a bunch of attorneys, make sure you read the part where I mention I'm not the idiot who wanted to perm. disable DSC........

This. He isn't lying. The douche who talked about that is banned, name was E-9-D.

But dammit timmahh! You know water pools in between lanes, especially during heavier rain! Glad you're okay, though.

Thx Bav... yeh

But I'm happy I was able to get the car off the road, it was sliding into the fast lane at first which have ended in me hitting the car next to me and who knows what else would have happened.

I really like it when people come in here and when one guy mistakenly says I have DSC off everyone chimes in about how i'm an idiot, especially the first year associate attorney.

Having said all that, if DSC was off I think this would have been an absolute disaster, I believe the tread on my tires couldn't deal with the amount of water on the ground, even though DSC tried to intervene and straighten the car out there was just not enough traction.
