Newbie few questions
Hi there,
Am the new owner of a 2005 320d SE auto. Car is one previous owner with less than 16,000 on the clock. Absolutely loving it, but got a few questions. The car has standard 16" SE alloys with non RFT's, but the wheels do not have locking nuts, is this normal? Also while reading the owners manual, it describes at the back all the various warning lights that may appear on the dash and they don't seem to operate the way as illustrated in my car. For instance the Fasten seat belt, handbrake applied, and ignition switched on with drivers door open warnings don't appear in the dash display panel, except for the seatbelt light which has a smaller warning at the top of the display. Have noticed that the door open warnings also only illuminate when the car moves with a door open. Is this normal? And one last question. When slowing down for junctions / lights etc a slight but noticeable jerk is felt as the transmission drops gears, once again is this normal? Tried the gearbox reset tip but can't say I noticed much difference? Many thanks, Craig. |

Don't think so. Have all previous MOT's, VMC verification certificate, and also spoken to the one previous owner. Condition of car is mint with no signs of worn pedals, seat bolsters, steering wheel etc.
