What camcorder?
I am thinking of getting a camcorder. Just looking for something to capture kids parties etc.
Anyone got any tips? There are thousands out there and I have no idea! You can get some for £150 or thousands - I guess I would be happy to go to £300ish. What do you guys have?

If your video is going to end up either on the web or on your home TV, then something like the flash based Flip or some of the Kodak ones.
Less than £100, HD capture, the size of a *** (starts with an F, ends with a G and has an A in the middle) packet and video far better than anything you could have hoped for just 3 years ago. |

I bought the Sony TG3. Been great so far, seems to take good video and it's fairly easy to manage for HD files.
I bet there has been 1 or 2 updated models by now but it's pocket-able and good quality which makes it a winner for me. Don't like the big ones requiring a big should bag etc. |
