Doubt it after only a few months in production. Perhaps down the road.

You are reffering to the M Sports Kit

We have been able to order it in SA since August with deliveries starting September

Have a look in the Photo section and see cars already delivered to members here with the kit

Well, when you're the king of the road, you can do that.

Thanks

I just received my car last week, how can I tell if the sports package is the new one or the old one?

Also, does it mean that there is only this one sports pack or do u have to ask for this particular one?

I just want to add that BMW really pisses me off when they keep adding new options, models etc so close together without letting anyone know in time. They really screw their customers this way IMO. I would have seriously been interested in this package had I known about it ahead of time.

If you have the normal bumpers you have the normal sport pack.
If you have the new bumpers you have the M Sport pack.

BMW SA has dropped the normal sport pack, and will only offer the M Sport pack from now on. But the parts from the normal sports pack can still be ordered as options seperately, just not as a package

Its been known that the M Sport pack would come out since before the E90 was launched.

No plans for USA release yet

The USA only got the E46 M sport pack very late in its life as the ZHP
The 5 Series M sports pack has been out about a year in Europe, but its still not planned for the USA

It sucks that BMW doesn't think these specs will do well here in the states. And they probably won't, considering most E90 owners will be snobby rich status-seeking individuals that don't know a lick about performance.

If your Sports Package is the new M Sport Package, among other things, your car will have the following:
1. "M" letter on the Steering Wheel.
2. "M" letter on the Gear-lever, if it's a Manual Transmission.
3. Round front fog-lights, as opposed to the standard ones that are not completely rounded.
4. The bottom section of the rear bumper is not the same colour as the rest of the car.

I hope this helps....

Last week I saw an E90 with the new M-Sport Pack on the road in Pretoria... it's sweet

For those who were able to get the M Sports package, wouldn't the package now be more costly compared to the regular/old sports package? If so, by how much?

I see mainly cosmetic enhancements only...unless that "M sports suspension" is any different from the U.S. sports suspension.

Although most current E90 owners are sad when new things come out for the E90, I am glad! Keep 'em coming, BMW! I'll land my E90 next year! Fix that soft-stop!

The price did go up here

The M Sports Suspension has different Springs and shocks than the normal Sports suspension
