FOB Range

My fob key is only in range about a meter from the car... is this normal? (Not tried the other key yet)

Certainly not normal. How old is the car - could be low key battery.

Not normal at all, I think i'm up to about 30 meters in distance from the car, and it still operates the locks etc.

your fob must be on low power? But don't they charge in the go like the e46's?

They charge up again when you drive but like all batteries, the rechargeing will lessen as it ages. If your car is newish though, there's a problem.

Mine works from a good 15 metres away and through a house door/window.

Mine is a new car, feb I got it.. N yes the battery should ve recharged during each journey.
