I've had this computer since early October (2010) and have NEVER taken it outside of my house, always on my desk or on a laptop stand. Also didn't use the laptop's keyboard or touchpad much since I connect it to an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Battery is in excellent condition, no scratches on the body or screen. Everything works perfect, as if it was completely brand new. I have the box still with it's original plastic wrapping for the laptop. I am selling this laptop because I use my 13" MBP more frequently.

Hey not to thread jack but..they are cheaper in stores not that the new macbook came out. This model is 1269 refurbished.

No shit? I guess he's doing people a favor by performing this "basic" research. Especially since he has absolutely no interest in purchasing my laptop in the first place. Comparing my laptop to a refurbished one is not comparing apples to apples (yes, pun intended).

I'm sure people really want to buy your laptop after the way you respond yourself...and please..anyone who has bought an apple refurb before knows that's it's pretty much new. They replace almost everything and extensively test it. Get your head out of your ass.

I'm not trying to be an asshole but it irks me that people make unsolicited posts. Especially when the guy starts out saying "hey not to thread jack..." If he had any courtesy he would have PM'd me instead. It's a real asshat move on his part --- but hey, it is what it is right?

Yes, refurbished items are good but they're refurbished for a reason.
