Crazy prices because BMW charge around £16 per litre for oil.. You need around 6.5 litres of oil, so best to give them your own. Last time I looked semi synthetic and fully synthetic 5W 30 oil was just £3.00 per litre at Asda.

Mercedes quoted me £237 for an A Service.

I brought my own oil and it was £83. The oil cost £55 from Ebay.

I also am entitled to Merc breakdown cover FOC as the main dealer did the service.

Wood @ Fleet are much cheaper than Barons, I take mine down there. Oil service + brake fluid change came to about 280 last summer at Wood. Their service is much better than Barons in my experience as well.

I know of this site too, but i want the bmw oil filter and these guys uses uniparts...i have a few months left of warranty on the car so i want to keep inside standard if any problem arise.

I just called a bmw specialist and they quoted me for 0w30 mobil one longlife oil and filter for £120 , do you guy think this is good oil?
I don't need a stamp since oil service is not really due yet but i only got the car for a few week and the last oil change was 10000 miles ago..i just wanna changed the and keep the recipet until the next proper service for the car.

I use Mobil 1 0W-40 New Life in my AMG. If its good enough for that it should be good enough for most things.

However just check on the bottle that it meets BMW specifications.
