Pea-Sized Hail - Any Damage?

So being from Southern California, we dont get much hail. However, it just hailed pea-sized hail here for about 5 minutes and my car is outside. For you folks that get hail more regularly, do you know if pea sized hail does any damage to our cars?

Won't get a chance to check my car till later, but hoping to get a sense of what to expect. Thanks.

When I was in australia (sydney) they had hail too but it's bigger than pea-sized..

The damage on the e90 was huge (it looks like it got hit by a shatter bullet from a ver very far distance. Basically there were creeks all over the car

terrible terrbile experience

I was wondering the same thing... Seemed to bounce off my car though (knock on wood).

You're probably fine. I'm from the Midwest so I've seen some pretty good hail and, in my experience, usually takes hail at least "dime size" to do any damage. My e90 hasn't seen any hail in my 6 months of ownership, but my previous car was a celica and it never had any damage from getting caught in a few big storms. Just get your car under direct light and get your eye even with the roof/hood/trunk/fenders and try to scope out any bumps refracting light.
