Which Tires do you Recommend

I'm looking to get a new set of summer tires and was wondering what you think would be best. They are going on Vmr vb3's which are 19/8.5 and 19/10. As of right now Im at stock height so rubbing isn't an issue. I'd like to stay right around or below $1500. I'd like a set that will hold up to a good amount of miles but still give great traction for the occasional autocross days. What do you suggest?

Top choices would include the Michelin PS2 and Continental DW.

Michelins are overpriced...I've had both the Dunlop Direzza Z1 and Yokohama Advan Neova's out at Lime Rock and they are phenomenal...I'm giving the edge to the Yokos.

I would recommend looking into the Continental DW's like Gary had recommended.

I was going to put that set on my VB3s 8.5/10 but might sell the car soon so my loss is your gain. I kind of want to keep them to see how they compare to my current 245/275 Hankooks but I need the cash.

Picked up the Direzza's for $250 a pop from TireRack almost 3 years ago now, 275/35/18s all around (For the Cobra). Time for those to get replaced.

Bought the Yokos for about the same price a year ago, stock 335i 19" sizes, from a good friend who's a manager at a tire shop (think he gave me 10%).

Running Advans AD08's and love them. RE11's would be a great choice as well.
