Angry Keep or not keep

OK

I originally posted earlier this week as you all about the 70mm center cap fitting on some ASA AR1's Black Mach-lip 19x8.5 on the front and 19x9.5 on the rear.... Well I found the center caps needless to say but another issue came about... Well, I received my 3 of the 4 rims today, open the box and guess what I found!!? The freaking ASA AR1 Silver Mach-lip ALL 4 rims are 19x8.5!! I contacted tire rack, and they said that they no longer had the wheels I initially ordered. Now what do I d?

Am I really missing out by not having the stag look? what on earth shall I do? The guy from tire rack suggested I go with a wider tire on the back 245x35...

Lame ass TireRack. That would make me angry. Send them back and tell them to take a hike. If they want to earn the business they can send the right wheels. Otherwise go get somewhere else that can get your order right.

That's what I would do.

send them back immediately.

there are tons of vendors on this board and you can depend on them to send the right wheels.

what tire rack did is inexcusable. that is just fucking ghetto suggesting someone run bigger tires on the rear because they cant deliver a real set of staggered wheels . . .

If you meant to order black wheels and received silver due to a misunderstanding with your sales rep or the wheels were simply mis-boxed then Tire Rack will, of course, pay to pick them up and issue a full credit to your credit card.

Simply contact my customer service dept at 1-800-428-8355, ext 360 for immediate assistance. Please accept my apologies on your sales reps behalf (Ethan at ext 689).

OK let me ask these serious determining question...

In not going with the staggered setup, how does that effect the ride of my e90?
Is the Stagged look just that, a look but not really a true feel to it?

If I went with 20mm spacers in the rear, would this work?

Just asking...

You know Gary, I am a pretty reasonable guy, I am still a member of the Gentlemen’s Club. Apology accepted! I do like the wheels, but in your expert opinion can you answer my questions about the look and feel of the Stag look? And in addition can go with 245x35 all around?

You can stagger and run 245/35R19 would fit the rear with no problems, but I would be concerned with rubbing up front.

If you really did want black wheels, please don't feel like you have to compromise and keep the silver ones.

I'd personally return them and get what you originally paid for. But if you decide to keep them u can run stagg tires. Go with a 225 in the front and a 245 or 255 on the rear. I ran a 225 and 255 setup on my E46 back in the day and it drove fine. Good luck

Thank you Gary! I really appreciate the help and great customer service from Tirerack. I will not hesitate to do business with Tirerack again, but I will check and cross check to make sure we are clear on my next order… Thanks again.
